Undergraduate Student Research
Participating in research as an undergraduate student can open up doors and provide opportunities that you never knew existed. Not only does it look good on a resume, but it can also give you a better idea of what area you want to focus on in graduate school.
By getting involved in research as an undergraduate, one day you could find yourself in Antarctica, in a physics lab working with lasers, or doing any number of things that lead to new discoveries. One place to get involed is with the REEL program in the Department of Chemistry. This program is providing research experience to freshmen and sophomores.
Advice on how to get started is available at Ohio State's Undergraduate Research Office.
