Calculus Remote from The Ohio State University (CROSU) is the only calculus distance learning program available at Ohio State. Currently, the program is offered to Ohio State students at regional campuses or qualified high school students within the state of Ohio. Typically, courses are taken by high-achieving Ohio high school students who have exhausted the courses offered at their respective high schools. Through a program designed to foster communications between students at their remote location, and instructors, assistants, and mentors on the CROSU hotline at Ohio State, students are able to take Math 151, 152, 153, 254, 255/415, and 568. For the 2004-2005 school year, 25 high schools from Cincinnati to Toledo to Cleveland participated.
