The Consortium for Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education (CAUSE) is the first national organization of its kind, designed to advance undergraduate statistics education in four target areas: resources, professional development, outreach, and research. The group operates the first-of-its-kind Web-based digital library of resources for statistics instructors at the web site www.CAUSEweb.org. Other goals of the organization include promoting collaborations among statistics educators, improving the status of statistics education research as a recognized discipline, and providing professional development opportunities for statistics educators.
